i hate rain

so i was going to see the dandys at the glass house tonight, but i'm bailing. i'm worried it's going to rain and i can't do any nighttime rain driving. it was all drizzly and gloomy this morning and seems to be clearing up now, but i'm too scared it's going to rain while i'm there. yl isn't very far from pomona but still. fuck you rain!

instead, simon is coming over tonight. we might go see "the hangover" and if we do, i'm gonna see if delano can go with. i know he wants to see it too. hanging out with them would be more fun than the dandys by myself. i made dinner for all of us last night. burn notice night! and the lakers too. i made pasta with spinach, tomato and onions and some garlic bread. various pastas are the only thing i can think of to cook. i need to start looking up some veggie recipes. or get brave and touch meat.

so yeah, it's all rainy this morning and the power went out. i thought, well fuck and headed out early. i walk to te parking lot and see some other neighbors milling around. oh yeah... no power, no gate. we were stuck! it wasn't for very long though. guitar guy got a wrench and opened up the motor box. now it's stuck open.
