so what's the deal?
Feb. 16th, 2009 03:11 pmhigh fructose corn syrup. good or bad? not like it's going to change my eating habits, i'm just curious. i think it's interesting there's a commercial campaign to let consumers know that it's good for you and made out of corn. or something.
it seems to me sugar is sugar no matter the source and too much in general is just plain bad.
also, since i'm not really working today (it's sloooooooow) i'm doing some general internet fuckery. jorge from LOST has a cool blog that i like to check out. since i have free time, i started scoping out his girlfriend's blog. she wrote an interesting thing about physiological screening at the airports. go read it. i had never even heard about it, but if that's the case i'm fucked as well. i'm totally one of those nervous flyers. it's not like i fly often or anything, but it does make me nervous. short flights are ok but still anxiety inducing. like simon wants to go back to vegas and he was all "we're so flying next time. fuck this traffic!" i know it's like a 2 hr flight, if that, but i'd still rather drive. the flight to italy with my mom was a bitch. totally had a panic attack and sat in the bathroom crying for almost an hour.
i guess my point is, if they put this shit in place and i ever have to fly anywhere, they're totally gonna think i'm taliban.
