i was feeling ambitious yesterday. i've been going through a mood as usual and need something to help keep me distracted. i needed a new art project, really. i've been wanting to learn to crochet, like make purses and dolls and shit. right now, i've pretty much mastered the granny square and so i'm making a blanket. here it is, thus far:



i have to admit, i'm quite impressed with myself. like i didn't think i could pull this off, but it's really not too complicated. i don't have a specific color pattern or anything, just changing it when the mood strikes.

i can't wait to work on it some more. i think i'm going to even attempt a border on it. we'll see.
