Sep. 15th, 2008 01:14 pmthe weekends have felt so full and busy lately. i'm looking forward for the chance to just chill and hide out solo for two days in a row. maybe this weekend...
i feel like i spent a lot of money, but when i actually add it up, it's not super bad. got 3 tanks and a bunch of produce at the swap meet on sat. 3 gigantor artichokes, 3 humongous grapefruits (for my dad), a big bag of roma tomatoes, and 3 baskets of strawberries (omg SOOOOOOO sweet and yummy). total spent at swap meet $35. not bad for the amount of things i walked out with. however, the strawberries got yucky on my way home. i ended up giving away two baskets because they were so delish; one to my parents, one to connie and i took the last one. i get home last night and as i'm putting my basket in the fridge, i notice there's mold on a couple of them. :( they were fine on sat. sigh, oh well.
i also went to bed bath and beyond for the sole purpose of LOOKING at cushions. i walked out with a freaking awesome big huge plushy one and a new soap dispenser. damage there was also around $30. WHY AM I BUYING THINGS?! i've been very good about not shopping lately, but the past two weekends i lost my self control. no more!
man, so don't feel like working.
