Jul. 8th, 2008 09:01 pmi am in love. i'm so glad i got this book. my heart aches (in a good way). this is the first book that has me completely enthralled. can you be head over heels in love with a book? because i am.
every other paragraph i read, i mutter "that's me!" because pamela IS me, in an emotional sense. adventures and experiences aside, i feel like we're the same person. even the way she writes and describes things, it's like she's completely speaking my language. i'm so wound up over it that my eyes tear a little. i can't believe a simple book could cause such strong feelings inside me and i've read plenty of books that i've fawned over, mind you. this is the first one where it's a continuous wave of thrill.
i'm not even halfway through it either. i wish i could keep reading all night, but it hurts my eyes.
i want to write a letter to pamela des barres and tell her how incredibly amazing she is.
