happy bday to me!

sholanda totally rules, fyi.
so the weekend was good. sat was the valley party. simon is a big loudmouth and drove away the people at the next table, but good riddance. i was surprised he was really having good talks with robin and his boyfriend. simon's kinda homophobic, sort of. he gets all sketchy around them, but they were having good conversations, so yay! gussie's boyfriend was trying to match simon's drink order for some reason. whatever simon got, jose would follow. hmmm. i wonder what that's about. yes was only slightly mopey, but to her credit, i didn't do a very good job at engaging her in conversation. i was going back and forth listening to other people.
side note: i really need to start being a better friend to yes. i've been kind of brushing her off lately because she's been getting on my nerves. but it's not her fault really. and she handles it ok when i tell her no to stupid requests. i can't expect her to change for me, that's unfair. i just need to learn how to handle her better. i think i'm just getting tired of bailing her ass out all the time. but anyway.
simon came over yesterday to watch superbowl. he told me to root for the giants, so i did. and i gotta say, it was pretty cool at the end. i got into it. simon sucks in a major way though since he LEFT DURING TOM PETTY! wtf. but he's a chigger, so what can you expect. he should have been born black. he says he's coming over every superbowl because i'm good luck and his team wins. ha! tom petty was awesome.
today was good. just dealt with normal jewbagel shenanigans at work. i half worry that i'm going to lose my job soon because they won't be able to afford me. but then again, i'm the only one there who does what i do, so i'm pretty safe. i think. this company better not go under. i'm a little scared. when the bosses are in a tizzy, i get a little tizzified myself.
who cares, it's party time. i'm off to chill with the kitty. i think there's something wrong with her. :( it's been going on for a few days now. she cries when i pick her up, in that hurt kind of yelp and not the piss off! type of meow. i can't tell if it's her legs or her tummy, but she seems to walk and jump around fine. and she eats and poops like normal. so hmm. shola, i'm hitting you up for your vet.
