my shoulders are killing me. work sucks. and i fucked up my right leg somehow. i don't know what happened, but it's really sore and i can't put a lot of weight on it. i woke up this morning, got out of bed... and fell down. my leg just completely gave out. tried to get up and fell again. i don't think i slept on it funny. i don't know what happened.

and my neck hurts so much i'm starting to get a headache. fuck this job.

i had an amazing day today. spent it all in LA.

started off at 5am. got up, got ready. left at 6 for the internship gig. that was cool as usual. kicked it with sholanda. jackie sang a song to me. good times. stayed there till 11. i got the day off from BBB, so my friend Em and I made plans to hang out. she just moved into town a little over a month ago and doesn't know anyone either than her roommate (ryan) and myself. ryan works 16 hours days as a production assistant. so anyway, em and i hung out.

went to go get her. she wanted to go to citywalk for some shopping. we figured public transportation would be cheaper than paying for parking (which it SO is) so we took the subway to universal city. LA has a subway? who knew! i sure didn't. it was pretty nice too. apparantly it runs from studio city down to the middle of south central. and you can hop on a separate subway from there and take it all the way down to long beach. weird. but yeah, we took that down to citywalk.

had lunch at shanghai and mein. it was pretty good. they had thai food! so yummy. then we walked around the whole thing. got a little something for a friend of mine for christmas. em said we should check out the free ticket booth and see what tv shows were taping tonight. the guys at the booth were totally flirting with her. but they said craig kilborn was being taped this evening. and we said, "yeah, let's go!" they told us to get there by 4, 4:30 at the latest. so we walked around citywalk some more and got back on the subway. took it back to where we started then hopped on a bus. my first LA metro experience. it wasn't exciting.

the line to get into the craig kilborn show is confusing. they didn't organize it well. we met some cool people though. a trio of english boys (all cute), couple of other guys who started off nice, then turned into idiots, and a mom and daughter duo. the daughter is a HUGE joey fatone fan, and he was one of the guests tonight. it was peri gilpin (from frasier), joey fatone, and melissa etheridge. it was really cool. the studio is TINY. it only fit 100 people. we were lucky to get in. apparantly nick was out here too trying to get in. maybe he got there too late? they were giving way free shit to people who were being extra enthusiastic. during breaks, they would play music so em and i and a few other people would stand up and dance. i didn't stand all of the times, but enough to get the emcee's attention. em got a melissa etheridge sampler. i got candy. woo.

after the taping was over, we went back to hollywood and highland (near where em lives). they blocked off part of hollywood blvd and there was a ton of people standing around watching something going on. we go over and they were shooting a scene from the new charlie's angels movie. they were throwing lucy liu through a glass window. it wasn't really her, it was a dummy. it was pretty cool to watch. "fire in the hole!" and off she went.

as soon as that was done, we walked back to em's apt and i took off. proof! i was in your area! i totally called you too, but your line was busy. you bastard.

anyways, that was it. came home, went grocery shopping, watched the osbournes get interviewed by barbara walters. now i'm here. and i'm staying up to watch craig kilborn. em and i had such a blast. we're going to try to make a weekly thing. i'm going to request all wednesdays off. and we're just going to go to a bunch of tv show tapings. they're free, so why the hell not?
