Jul. 3rd, 2002 03:29 ami love the fact that i only update really late at night now. no being online during the day for me. can't tie up them phone lines. :P
i'm so tired. slept 4 hours last night. art came over. him and patty and i watched ace ventura. then she went to bed and art and i just stayed up talking. it was really great. we were just laying on my bed and talked about everything. our friends, our jobs (or my lack of one), life, love, and lots of music. we always talk bands. but it was nice. he would have just stayed the night too, but he was afraid of getting a ticket. there's supposedly no parking on the street on tuesdays, which is lame because people park out there all the time, regardless and i haven't noticed anyone being ticketed yet. still, guess you can't be too careful.
trish gave me a bit of hard time this afternoon too. for like a good half hour or so. i told her art didn't leave till 4am. "what were you two doing?" "just laying on my bed and talking." "did you two hook up?!" "no. no! god no!" "ha ha! you love art!" "whatever." it was pretty funny. then i took a nap for like 3 hours.
oh, i had a doctors appointment this morning. it was lame and a total waste of one hour. they didn't even charge me for the visit, because somehow, they thought i had bronchitis and that was why i was in there, but really i was there to get cleared for surgery. the doctor was like "so you have bronchitis?" and i say "uh... no?" and he goes, "well, there's no point charging you for this visit." so that was that. mommy and i went to felix's cafe for lunch. it was really good. cuban and spanish food. yum. and the bill was only $12 total for the 2 of us. can't beat that.
so yeah. then i came home and napped. trish called and woke me up. i got SO CONFUSED. for some reason i thought she was alli and i just couldn't understand our conversation. when she got home, she was like "what the hell was that about?" and i told her i didn't realize it was her until near the end of the conversation. she was like "yeah, when you said 'um, yeah we could have dinner together' i figured you were all discombobulated." i'm losting my mind. but then we made dinner and watched a movie. shallow hal. it was pretty good.
after that, i went to ozz with david and alli. it was fun. and i'm totally beat.
