i love jason mraz. i really do. and i'm so happy for him that he got a record deal and is doing so well. but at the same time, i'm going through that "indie-snob" jealousy thing. i dunno. i miss being able to drive up to LA to see him at the coffee house. and i wish i had the nerve to talk to either him or toca when i had the chance. even if i had a chance now, i probably still wouldn't do it. i'm shy and i hate approaching people. especially people i admire in some way.

jason is going to be on kilborn tonight. i'm calling my dad to see if he'll tape it for me.
